To begin your extraordinary trip, you will first visit the chaotic yet charming Ho Chi Minh City. Day 2: Mekong Delta (B)
On the second day of our trip, we will take a boat trip along Mekong River passing paddy fields, water buffaloes, eating local fruits on board. While sailing, you can enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals to have a unique glimpse into the life of the mighty Mekong Delta. Day 3: Phnom Penh (B)
Leave the hectic Ho Chi Minh City, we will travel to Phnom Penh on public bus, then enjoy a tasty beverage, a mojito on the rooftop bar Foreign Correspondents Club is a good idea. Then we will take a cycle tour to visit several highlights of the Central market, Wat Phnom, Mekong river front, independence monument and Royal Palace. Day 4: Chambok Homestay (B)
This day, we will travel to the rural region of Kampong Speu and the village of Chambok to adore the deep serene of the beautiful Kirirom National Park. There we will spend the night at a homestay to experience the daily life of local people, eat their traditional Kmer dinner and trek to the awesome 40-metre waterfall nearby. Overnight in homestay.
Day 5: Sihanoukville (B)
After exploring the peaceful rural area of Cambodia, we will get on a private bus to Sihanoukville. There you will have an extraordinary time to lazily lie on lively beaches and admire the natural splendor landscapes, or scoot out to the nearby islands on a boat tour. Day 6: Phnom Penh (B)
After leaving the heaven on the earth Sihanoukville, it’s time to shake the sand off your feet and get on our bus back to the capital, visiting Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum or Choeung Ek (Killing Fields) to learn the darkest history of Cambodia. Afterwards, we can transfer to Rayal Palace and Silver Pagoda to admire plenty of mesmerizing masterpiece of architectures. Finally, we will go to Central or Russion markets to interact with locals. Day 7: Kampong Cham (B)
Today, we will transfer to Kampong Cham which is usually considered as frontier charm, French-colonial character. In Kampong Cham, you will hire a bike and wander around the beautiful Koh Paen Island. Another highlight you should not miss is the 11th century Wat Nokor. The twin ‘moutain temples” of Phnom Pros and Phnom Srei are also fascinating sites of religious, historic and spiritual significance. Overnight in hotel.
Day 8: Siem Reap (B)
From Kampong Cham, we will take a bus to Siem Reap where our local tour guide will walk you through the town to make you acquainted. Then we will head to markets, eating some cheap and tasty street food, take a deep rest after a long traveling day and waiting for the trip to Angkor Wat in the next day. Overnight in hotel.
Day 9: Siem Reap (B)
Today Angkor Wat will be the next destinations in your trip. You should prepare your camera ready because Angkor will amaze every visitors with its gigantic carved faces of Bayon, the crazy jungle -juxtaposition of Ta Prohm (a temple that looks like it’s being swallowed by the vice-like grip of Mother Nature’s tentacles) and Tomb Raider. Day 10: Siem Reap (B)
In the last day of your trip to Cambodia, you will spend time on wandering around Siem Reap, going shopping in markets, shops then visiting the big freshwater Tonle Sap Lake for a glimps of local life.
