Trang An – Bai Dinh day trip (SIC)

South of Hanoi, the Trang An Landscape Complex is considered Vietnam’s “Ha Long Bay on land.” A UNESCO World Heritage Site for both nature and culture, the complex features a spectacular landscape of caverns and tunnels among limestone karsts, rice paddies, villages, and historic sites.

Day tour Hanoi - Bai Dinh pagoda - Trang An - Hanoi (L)

In the morning, depart from Hanoi to Ninh Binh (110km - 2.5 hours). The first stop is Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest one in Vietnam with a biggest bronze Buddha statue which is 10-meter hight and 100-ton weight (return buggy included). Lunch at a local restaurant.

Then, transfer to Trang An - the tourism complex in the Northern province of Ninh Binh was officially included in the world heritage list on 23 June by the UNESCO's world heritage commitee. The eco tourist attraction located in the East of Ninh Binh, with area of 2000 ha, it includes 47 historical vestiges with many mysterious things, with limestone mountain, valleys and undersground river systems. Take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang cave, Toi cave, Ba Giot caveNau Ruou in the mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Halong on land of Ninh Binh.

The end of the day, drive back to Hanoi.
