Full itinerary

Day 1 ARRIVAL HANOI

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, met and picked up by our representative. Transfer to hotel for check-in.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 HANOI – LAO CAI OVERNIGHT ON TRAIN (Breakfast/ -/ Dinner)

Spend full day to discover Hanoi – the captical of Vietnam. In the morning, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday & Friday) and House-on-stilt, Hochiminh Museum, One Pillar pagoda. Go to see Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) which is the first university of Vietnam from 11 centuries. In the afternoon, take a cyclo tour through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sales at these places. Stop to visit Hoan Kiem Lake – Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy Water Puppet show – the most famous Vietnamese cultural show with folk songs. Have dinner before boarding the night train to Lao Cai.

Day 3 LAO CAI - SAPA (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Upon arrival at Lao Cai station in the following morning we will be transfered to Sapa by our private vehicle with stunning scenery of mountain pass and valleys. At an elevation of 1,600 meters, Sapa is a delightful former French hill station situated in the mountainous region of Vietnam`s northwest, close to the Chinese border. The region is home to many ethnic minority groups, each wearing their traditional and colorful attire.

After breakfast we take a light trek for one hour to Cat Cat village which is the home to Black Hmong ethnic. We visit a family here to get more inside about unique culture; then, walk the whole way to the bottom of the village where we can relax by a romantic river. Take photos before heading back to Sapa.

In the afternoon we drive to the Silver Water Fall which is 15 km away from the town. We can take photos and enjoy the great scenery along the way as well as the top of Sapa Mountain Pass. Back to Sapa around 3.30PM then free time to stroll around the town on your own.

Day 4 SAPA - LAO CAI - HANOI (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Breakfast at the hotel; then, drive down to a romantic valley of Lao Chai and Ta Van where we take an easy walk across a suspension brigde to get to the village of Black Hmong and Tay minorities. Pay a visit to a family here is a great experience to learn about their real daily life as well as their tradition. The locals plant indigo to make the colour for their clothes, grow rice in the terraced fields on the sides of the mountains. We then take a light trek through their rice fields down to the river at the bottom of the valley before driving back to the main town of Sapa. The rest of the day is free at leisure until get transfered to Lao Cai for the night train back to Ha Noi.

Day 5 HANOI – HA LONG (Breakfast/ Cruise Lunch/ Cruise Dinner)

Picked up at Hanoi railway station. Have breakfast at a hotel. Then, proceed to Ha Long. Welcome on board for a junk cruise and set sail in the bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons' teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Late afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with anglers who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset, kayak is good option to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board, enjoy watching the peaceful sunset and later unwind at restaurant on cruise.

Day 6 HA LONG – HANOI (Breakfast/ Cruise Brunch)

Rising to the sound of lapping bay waters, you have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emeraude water of the bay. After breakfast, you explore Sung Sot cave – one of the bigget caves of Halong Bay. Then, the boat cruises back to the jetty while brunch is served. Your boat arrives at the harbor by noon. Transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 7 TRANG AN – HOA LU – HANOI (Breakfast/ Lunch)

In the morning, visit Hoa Lu – the Ancient Royal Capital under Dinh Dynasty and pre-Le Dynasty, which lasted 41 years (968-1009). Continue our drive to Trang An. Take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and river. After the boat trip, return to Hanoi. Check in hotel.

Day 8 HANOI – HUE (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Take short morning flight to Hue. Upon arrival, enjoy the boat trip along Perfume river to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit Imperial Citadel of the King Nguyen Dynasty. Visit the tombs of former emperor Khai Dinh and Minh Mang constructed as the king himself planned and chose the location in the middle of a pine foreset. Then, as the biggest attraction of the day, visit the magnificient Imperial Citadel. Visit Dong Ba market to see the daily life of local people.

Day 9 HUE – DANANG – HOI AN (Breakfast/ Lunch)

In the morning, leave Hue for Danang. The picturesque route passes Lang Co, a fishing village, which is strikingly charming for any photographer. In Danang, visit Cham Museum – the biggest collection on the history and cultre of the Cham Pa Kingdom which ended at the 16th century. On the way to Hoi An, you will drop in the Marble mountain, a large garden mount complex, a precious gift of Mother Nature acknowledged as a national heritage. Visit a stone carving village at the foot of Marble Mountain. In Hoi Check in hotel at Hoi An.

Day 10 HOI AN (Breakfast)

We spend the morning for a walking tour around this enchanting port town a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese and Arab traders. Follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures and visit its numerous places of interest: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local fish market... Around the town we can see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like. After lunch in local restaurant, enjoy a short boat ride to a nearby village specializing in ceramics and crafts-including boat building. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. We enjoy a half day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200 year old Tam Ky Ancestral House. Following the tour there will be free time to shop or relax.

Day 11 HOI AN – DANANG – HO CHI MINH (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner on Saigon River Cruise)

We take about 1 hour driving from Hoi An Town to Danang Airport and then taking flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where we transfer you directly to centrally located hotel. We embark on a city tour of Saigon including The War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, City Hall. Dinner will be served on Saigon River Cruise with show entertainment along the Saigon River.

Day 12 HO CHI MINH CITY – TAY NINH – CU CHI (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Today, have excursion to the Cao Dai temple (a mixture of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Hinduism and Christian). If arriving at the right time, you will have chance to see their noon mass at the temple. Lunch. Afternoon, transfer to visit Cu Chi Underground Tunnel, the famous battle field in Vietnam war. Now it is a favourite tourist site with its 200 km - long tunnels and its’ brave guerrillas. These tunnels and underground villages were built to provide a safe haven for the people of Cu Chi in the war. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13 HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Leaving Ho Chi Minh City and take about 70km to My Tho where we cruise on a private boat through the green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch in a local restaurant in the heart of the Mekong, complete with tropical fruits. We also visit the snake farm Dong Tam, Vinh Trang pagoda, a combination of Asian and European pagoda before heading Can Tho city, heart of the Mekong Delta.

Day 14 CAN THO – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast/ Lunch)

The watery world of the Mekong Delta is home to many bustling floating markets. This day we take a boat trip exploring the vibrant floating market of Cai Rang and Phong Dien, which the trading way is unique; each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it will be pumpkins, pineapples, sugar canes. Boat cruise through small cannels and fruit gardens. Lunch at local restaurant before return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 15 HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE (Breakfast)

Transfer to Airport for departure flight. Tour ends!
