Can Tho – Soc Trang Wildlife Discovery (private)

• 7:30am, picked up by our tour guide to start the journey of discovering Mekong’s Khhmer Culture. Transfer to Soc Trang Province (1hour), which is famous for its amazing food, lovely people and hidden Khmer cultures.
• Visit incredible Clay Pagoda (Buu Son Tu), built more than 200 years ago. The owner of this pagoda, had devoted his past 42 years constructing 1901 Buddha statues, 200 animal statues, along with other worshipping items from clay materials. You will soon find out that the pagoda also houses very special candles, each of which can be as heavy as 200kg and as tall as 1.6m which is said that each candle will take about 70 years to burn.
• Then we’ll visit Bat Pagoda (Chua Doi), built in 16th century.  It’s famous for its beautiful architecture, especially its very large roof that houses tens of thousands of bats. It presents an opportunity to contemplate Khmer arts, with skillful, symbolic decoratins on its pillars and roof and splendid relieves and statues.
• Visit Chen Kieu Pagoda: The pagoda is skillfully decorated with a layer of stylishly designed bowls and different colored plates by ancient artisans and was built with a spiritual significance.
• Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
• Afternoon, explore the wildlife bird sanctuary landscape, which is a great home for thousands of birds. Take a long tail boat to slowly enter the forest to immerse yourselves into the natural environment of Mekong Delta, seeing the wildlife of birds. Get to the 25-metter observation tower to enjoy the fascinating view over the wetland forest and the stunnung rice fields (seasonal).
• 5:00pm, get back to Can Tho city.
