South of Hanoi, the Trang An Landscape Complex is considered Vietnam’s “Ha Long Bay on land.” A UNESCO World Heritage Site for both nature and culture, the complex features a spectacular landscape of caverns and tunnels among limestone karsts, rice paddies, villages, and historic sites.

Full itinerary

Day tour Hanoi - Bai Dinh pagoda - Trang An - Hanoi (L)

07h00–07h30: We pick you up at your hotel and depart for Bai Dinh–Trang An. You will enjoy the beautiful scenes of the rural areas on the way.
10h30: Arrive at Bai Dinh Pagoda. The guide takes you to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam, with 500 La Han statues and a bronze Buddha statue, which is 10 meters high and 100 tons in weight.
12h30: Have lunch at a local restaurant with some local specialties.
14h00: Transfer to Trang An, the tourism complex in the northern province of Ninh Binh, which was officially included in the World Heritage List on June 23 by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. The eco-tourist attraction, located in the east of Ninh Binh, has an area of 2000 ha and includes 47 historical vestiges as well as many mysterious things, such as limestone mountains, valleys, and underground river systems. Take a boat trip to see the mystery and wildness of the cave complex: Sang cave, Toi cave, Ba Giot cave, and Nau Ruou, as well as the scenery of the mountains and rivers in Ninh Binh.
16h30: Getting on the car back to Hanoi. The tour finishes around 19:30 in Hanoi.
