Hoi An ancient town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.
My Son Sanctuary is another World Cultural Heritage site with ancient towers and temples built between the 4th and 13th centuries, an unique culture which owed its spiritual origins to Indian Hinduism developed on the coast of contemporary Viet Nam.
Full itinerary
Morning: you will be picked up at your hotel in Danang and proceed to visit Hoi An. Stroll arround and visit the typical sights of Hoi An like: Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien communal house, Phung Hung traditionial house, and Sa Huynh museum. Then you have some free time to discover traditional shops, local markets and other places of interests and watch local daily activities... Let your soul be your pilot in the typical yellow of Hoi An and colorful lantern-filled streets.
After lunch, transfer to My Son Sanctuary. This is graphically illustrated by the remains of a series of impressive tower-temples located in a dramatic site that was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence.
Back to your hotel in Danang.
