5 Days Hanoi - Halong - Danang - Bana Hills - Hoi An Ancient Town

Day 1 Hanoi arrival

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai airport, meet your guide and depart on a tour to visit Hanoi with the following highlights:

  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & Residence, Ba Dinh Square, One Pilla Pagoda (located within the Ho Chi Minh complex),
  • The Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, Constructed in 1070, the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.
  • The Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest of all the pagodas in Hanoi, located beside the dazzling West Lake.
  • Drive back to central Hanoi for a walking tour through the Old Quarter to enjoy the bustling local life. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It's a great place to explore, with plenty of photo opportunities all around you.
  • Followed by a traditional water puppet performance – a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2 Hanoi - Halong overnight on a cruise (Lunch & dinner inclusive)

Your morning departure from your hotel in Hanoi to Halong Bay takes you on a journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta. 

Arrive in Halong and board a cruise. As the vessel sets sails, you will be greeted by the crew team who will aim throughout your stay at providing you with the highest standards of service for your pure pleasure and utmost comfort onboard. Discover some of the treasures disseminated across the Bay of the Descending Dragon during the afternoon. You can use the cruise services at your leisure while onboard. Surrounded by a stunning setting in motion, you could attend our chef's cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking. 

Lunch and dinner will be served in the elegant dining room, accompanied by a wide selection of wines and beverages (with an extra charge applied) for drinks. 

In the evening, enjoy the entertainment activities such as movie night, squid fishing, or just relaxing with a cocktail surrounded by limestone rocks majestically springing out of the silent waters in the night. 

Stay overnight on the cruise.

Day 3 Halong - Hanoi - Danang (by flight) (Breakfast & Brunch inclusive)

Early birds can attend a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck at the break of dawn. Start the day enjoying some delights with a light breakfast followed by a colorful brunch. Continue exploring Halong Bay by sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights.

Check out the cruise, get back to the harbor, and return to Hanoi.

Transfer directly to the airport to take the flight to Danang. Pick up at Danang airport. Check in to your hotel. 

Overnight in Danang

Day 4 Danang - Bana hills - Hoi An (Lunch inclusive)

After breakfast, transfer to Ba Na Hills.

Upon arrival, enjoy the first leg of the cable car. Sitting in the cabin, in mid-air, looking upon the endless tree line of the forests, brings you spectacular views of the lush jungle and fairly waterfalls along the way. The experience of the pristine ecological systems of the Ba Na Mountains will leave you with a sense of unforeseeable discovery. Visit the Le Jardin, old wineries, French villa ruins, and the Ling Ung Pagoda, with its 27-meter-high Buddha statue and Golden Bridge.

Then take the second cable car to visit the top of the mountain and see the remains of old villas. Conquer the peak of Chua Mountain at the height of 1,487m. View the whole Danang city under the cluster of white clouds. Buffet lunch in Bana Hills.

Play plenty of games at Fantasy Park. (At Fantasy Park, admission does not include the Wax Museum, cotton animal games, or carnival skills.)

Return to the cable car station at the foot of Ba Na Mountain, then transfer to Hoi An ancient town. Check in to your hotel.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5 Hoi An - Danang departure

In the morning, stroll around the ancient town centre to visit some of the former merchants’ houses, the 400–year–old Japanese Bridge, a Chinese communal hall, and watch handicraftsmen at work. Free time for shopping at Hoi An Ancient Town and Hoi An Market.

Back to Da Nang in the afternoon. On the way, we stop to visit Marble Mountains – a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble, and Non Nuoc Stone Village, where you can buy some products made of stone.

Continue to drive to Danang airport for your departure flight.
