Flower growing started in Tay Tuu since 1930s, but until early 1990s, it really became a major job of the local people. In recent years, Tay Tuu people have planted more expensive flowers such as lilies and violets, in addition to popular species of flowers such as daisies, gerbera, and roses. Despite the progress of urbanization, Tay Tuu farmers have managed to keep their farms and traditional occupations so far.
